It’s easy to become a creature of habit each season and not really consider the changing weather, occasions or what your wardrobe might actually be missing.
That’s why it’s great when stores take the focus off individual items and show you new ways to consider how pieces can be worn, contrasted and matched - which Peggs & son have done nicely here with a collection of the store's finest AW15 looks.
Curation plays a huge part in why stores like Peggs & son are so popular and widely-known, so it’s nice to get the creative juices flowing with a load of Peggs-certified looks as we begin buying and dressing for the colder months.
The 16 looks do a fine job of showing off how well Peggs & son can pull together a great, measured fit using their impressive roster of global menswear brands. Expect to see Engineered Garments, APC, Arpenteur and Matthew Miller alongside one or two brands you might not have come into contact with just yet (we can’t know them all now, can we).
The theme of classic styles worn alongside pieces that make things feel contemporary, bright and a little bit special is consistent throughout the looks and echoes the store in general. Current sneakers - such as the recent Universal Works and Saucony collab - feature alongside some more formal, classic styles from Red Wing and Trickers. Each look does a great job of showing the kinds of purchases that need to be made each season to see you right for all occasions… think gillet's, unstructured jackets, staple outerwear and shoes for all weather, plus one or two pieces for the month-long festival of catch ups, booze and celebration that looms in December.
A nicely shot lookbook styled in a cared-for but carefree way, there’s elements here for all ages and budgets. I’ve picked out a few of my favourite aspects above, but there's plenty more to check out over on the Peggs & son site.
