Luton, England and Goiânia, Brazil come together as Overdiluted favourite Hurricane links up with Darker Than Wax’s Neguim for new track Levitate.
Inner city vibes sit alongside Latin American percussion for an interesting blend of influence, sound and perspective. Two advocates of innovative futuristic beats do their thing to create a collaborative world of cool, vibrant and sophisticated sounds with an unmistakable groove.
A track that is, in the words of Hurricane, best suited to being played “in cars, on the radio, on your fitness playlist, in clubs and at parties”, Levitate is gentle enough to ease a hangover or help you create one, taking you off to somewhere less grey and far more interesting than your everyday surroundings.
“I literally just hit him [Neguim] up. I have been a big fan since finding him online through a Label called Darker Than Wax from Singapore. I just really liked his style and the atmosphere he creates in his production, and I thought we would be able to make something interesting with him being based in Brazil, bringing that vibe and culture too.” - Hurricane
