London-based outerwear enthusiasts House of Billiam release a small collection of considered and well-crafted everyday jackets for Autumn Winter 16. To save you reading all the way to the end, if you like what you see, hit up the House of Billiam store with the code TK60LPR for 15% off at the checkout.

Recruiting the assistance of photographer and friend Simon Persaud, the ease and laidback nature of House of Billiam is really brought to life, with the collection worn by a group of friends as they head for a night out in Deptford. From heading to the offy to hitting the club, Persaud does a great job of showing a normal night with friends kicking back - no pretense, no bullshit. It kinda feels like you’re looking on at the group (all sporting ace jackets) from the other side of those familiar looking London streets.

Easily layered with a great fit, by avoiding formal shoots and handing jackets out to their friends, House of Billiam show the versatility of their wares. Worn over hoodies and as part of steezy, everyday looks, it's clear that HoB jackets will be work into your wardrobe without a problem.

While it's great to see the jackets in their natural environment, we have to be careful not to overlook the quality and attention to detail that's gone into them, which is easy to do when taking in Persaud’s low-key 35mm shots. The Checkered Chore (above, left) stands out as our favourite, with the blue and black check keeping things low-key while a little more interesting than a single colourway. This plus the British construction and wool fabric make for a jacket thatalthough is an instantly recognisable stylefeels rather unique, which isn't something you often think about a chore jacket.
